I started thinking about how we use our phones to take pictures, odd enough sounding because we don’t use our cameras to talk to someone.
Many of us really just make snapshots of personal events.
Some do use their phones to make pictures when we travel. I know a couple of big name photographers who rarely use “camera” gear, but instead use their phones instead. One, National Geographic’s Jim Richardson, makes pictures on his iPhone that are indistinguishable from those made with his DSLR or Mirrorless cameras.
